Connect Airbnb and Booking.com

Two-way sync through Channex: your availability and rates go out, bookings come in. Set the property type, connect each platform and match your rooms.

BaanHost connects to Airbnb, Booking.com, Agoda and Expedia through the channel manager Channex. Availability and rates are sent automatically, and bookings arrive by themselves. Channel sync is included in every plan and in the trial.

1. Choose the property type

Owners and managers open More → Channel sync. Each community has its own card.

1. Pick the Property type.
   • Hotel types (hotel, hostel, resort and similar) are handled as one property with room types. Use these for hotels and apartment buildings.
   • Vacation-rental types (guest house, villa, apartment, holiday home and similar) are handled per unit. Use these for villas and stand-alone houses.
2. A community with 3 units or fewer cannot use a hotel type. Choose a vacation-rental type instead.

2. Turn on channel sync

Tap Enable channel sync and confirm. BaanHost creates your property, room types and rate plans in the channel manager and starts sending availability and rates.

3. Connect a platform

Tap Connect a platform and choose the platform.

Booking.com (Agoda and Expedia work the same way)

1. In your Booking.com extranet: Account → Connectivity provider → search for "Channex", select it and accept the agreement. Agoda must approve the switch through your market manager or YCS; Expedia is set in Partner Central → Rooms and rates → Connectivity settings.
2. In BaanHost, enter the Hotel ID on the platform and tap Check connection.
3. Match rooms: for each room and rate on the platform, choose your room type and rate plan, or Not sold.
4. Tap Connect and start syncing.

Airbnb

1. Tap Authorize on Airbnb, sign in with your host account and tap Allow.
2. Come back and tap I have authorized, continue.
3. Under Airbnb listings, choose a room type for each listing and tap Map. Airbnb needs about 30 seconds per listing.
4. Tap Start syncing.

After connecting

• New channel bookings appear on the tape chart and in the bell. Problems are listed under Channel bookings needing attention.
• Airbnb booking requests and inquiries are answered under More → Airbnb requests.
• From the menu of each platform you can Pause syncing or remove the connection. Disconnect removes the whole property from the channel manager; bookings already in BaanHost are kept.

When your subscription ends

If the account becomes read-only (the trial ended or the subscription expired after the grace period), channel sync is disconnected automatically on the last day of that calendar month. A few days before, the owner gets an email. Disconnecting removes all platform connections and room matching; your bookings stay in BaanHost.
